I focus on the complexities of your project and organize the many process steps into a successful development path. The development process is a series of interdependent steps which must happen in a certain order and in a timely fashion to reduce your carrying costs. In hiring me, you will have an experienced manager bringing consistent focus to your project, organizing development within the framework of your budget and schedule, resulting in a smooth process and a dependable outcome.
Many people know me from my role as development manager for the Durham Central Park Cohousing Community, a 24 unit condominium project completed in 2014. Located at 130 Hunt Street in Durham’s vibrant Central Park, the success of this project paved the way for other new condominium buildings now under construction downtown. Playing to the strength of the cohousing group’s ability to pool equity, a critical aspect of my role was in structuring financing for the project during a period when few condominium projects received loans. I have 15 years of real estate development experience with a focus on working with non-profits and community groups. Other projects I have been involved with include Legion Road Townhomes in Chapel Hill, Rosemary Place at Meadowmont, the Carolina Friends School lower school expansion, and the development of a new restaurant property for the owners of NOSH and Jo Rae Café.
"Christine has demonstrated tremendous abilities in tracking and organizing a complex real estate development project. Her mastery of the process of working with sometimes recalcitrant government officials and narrowly-focused vendors has worked to our advantage on countless occasions."
Diana Fox, President, Durham Central Park Cohousing Condominium Association
